HEAD OF GLOBAL NETWORK OPERATIONS (Torquay)
We are looking for a heavyweight Telecoms engineer with management experience at a senior level for this demanding role. As well as running our existing hosted platforms, we need someone that can co-ordinate the global roll out of our business including installing nodes in Asia, the US, and the Middle East.
The Role and the Candidate:
This is a senior management role reporting directly to the MD.
The candidate will have to be able to demonstrate a record of strong management of IT and Telecoms staff and have broad communication skills.
The nature of the service the business provides means that work is mission critical for our customers. The ability to cope under pressure is therefore essential.
The Torquay office runs the following functions within the business:
- Network support
- Development testing
- Network design and implementation
- Implementation of new hosting sites.
The Technical Environment
Experience in some or all of the following areas is required:
- Public Network Telephony Services (IN)
- Contact Centre Design and Operations
- Computer Telephony Integration (CTI),
- High availability service operations
- Win2003/XP server systems, Firewalls and VPNs

SENIOR DEVELOPER (Basingstoke)
The Role and the Candidate:
It is anticipated that the candidate will spend a quarter of the time mentoring the team and the remainder carrying out development him or herself.
The candidate will have to be able to demonstrate a record of strong development skills and experience, the ability to find faults and to be able to pick up new technologies and methods quickly.
The nature of the service the business provides means that work is mission critical for our customers. The ability to cope under pressure is therefore essential.
The Technical Environment:
Experience in some or all of the following areas is required:
- Strong C++ development
- Multi-threaded development
- Computer Telephony Integration (CTI)
- High availability solutions
- Database and web development
- Networking (including firewalls)
- Linux and Windows environments

We are currently looking for a Systems Administrator to assist with the maintenance, structure and administration of the networks within the Torquay office. The role will include installing, supporting and maintaining servers, carrying out routine audits of systems and software as well as planning for and responding to service outages.
The successful candidate will ideally be educated to degree standard (preferably Computer Science) and possess a number of key skills including a working knowledge of operating systems including Linux and network health monitoring. They should also have an excellent grasp of computer security and have excellent problem solving skills.
Knowledge of C++ is essential as well as Visual Basic and Web Development. The candidate should also be able to demonstrate knowledge of remote working methods, for example VNC or PC Anywhere. Understanding of hosted call centre and telephony hardware would be advantageous.
